When Tāne separated his parents he took the world from a state of darkness known simply as Te Pō, into Te Ao Mārama, the world of light and understanding. ‘Mārama’ is to understand.
Each day we reset our pathway, signalled by the glimmer of light on the distant horizon breaking the state of darkness, and enabling unlimited potential.
